Wenns ein 32U2 auch tut, ist der even billiger und viel kleiner, besonders in
der QFN32-Bauform (5x5 mm²) oder halt moodlamp-kompatibel in TQFP32 (9x9mm²).
Der 32U2 hat keinen ADC. Falls wer Analogwerte will, geht nur 32U4.

Ein QFN32 schafft natürlich ordentlich Platz. Die Arduino-Kompatibilität kann
ich nicht bewerten. Die war mir immer blunzen.
