Hab nochwas gesehen, das auch XMPP als backend nehmen dürfte:

ich habs weder getestet noch viel gelesen.. hab mir nur gedacht ich 
maile mal den Link falls sich das wer anschaun will.

oder vielleicht hat sich's wer schon angeschaut hier ;)
