Cool quote, and probably true.  It is also the goal of technologists who, I suppose, may be allowed to meet, of any breed or variety, whenever and wherever they desire, to effect equalising change, equitably.  If there are to be women*-dominated tech workshops, I for sure would like to attend - no doubt I will learn something.
