netznetz Backbone Projects provide nessecary infrastructure for groups
or individuals working in the field of netculture and/or netart in Vienna.

The term ‘nessecary infrastructure’ may refer to technical
infrastructure like ITequipment, as well as rents for specific
locations like production sites for netcultural activities (for
example open spaces for public use) or salaries/wages for personnel
with special skills hired as temporary or permanent help.

Backbone Projects are limited to max 10.000 Euro each and will be
confirmed by the netznetz Community on 3rd April by public voting.
All submissions must be sent via the netznetz mailing list until the
call closing date (http://listen.esel.at/mailman/listinfo/liste)

technischen status quo von MANA kenn ich leider derzeit echt nicht.
hab mich aus der entwicklung mit dezemeber radikal ausgeklinkt.
glaube aber schon daran, dass mana (bzw. eine wie auch immer geartete
geldvergabe via community) durchaus fair funktionieren kann.

erst seit das geld in sichtweite war, haben diverse
profilierungsneurosen voll eingesetzt und mE das klima ziemlich
"angespannt" um es gelinde auszudrücken. aber aarons security hinweise
punkto mana waren ein einfühlsamer beweis, dass das auch anders geht.
