[Devops] Topics next devops meetup

Hi  there,

sorry for missing out the last few meetings, I'm buried in work atm and have another maintenance scheduled for tuesday evening. Also I'm more the storage/server guy, so Hannes can probably contribute more to the monitoring topic. However we are evaluating splunk and piwik right now and these things are pretty amazing, perhaps I can show off some stuff in the near future ;)

Also we migrated to the latest puppet +puppet dashboard+git backend this month, so if there is interest I can probably do a little insta-demo of the setup.

greez and br,

d.

Michael (both of you, actually) - great! I'm writing down proper announcement, then.

Recently I've been reading up a bit on how other complicated industries operate, inspired by Atul Gawande's "Checklist Manifesto" (which I highly recommend, BTW). There is some precious stuff out there in aircraft industry, medicine, NASA, and so on. The human factors research and technique development has been already done and paid for, and the results are available.
