Are you looking for a new professional challenge in an innovative
working environment? Welcome to Happylab Vienna, one of the world's most
renowned makerspaces and the first place to go for all makers! We are
looking for a technical employee who will enrich our team with passion
and specialist knowledge.
Your profile: With completed technical training (preferably in wood or
metalworking) and practical experience, you have the perfect foundation.
Your enthusiasm for crafting, repairing and problem-solving makes you
the ideal team member. Not only are you creative in the workshop, but
you also enjoy sharing your passion and know-how in workshops or in
informal exchanges with our community. The ability to work in a team is
just as natural to you as independent, conscientious work.
You can expect: A varied and responsible position that offers scope for
creative possibilities. Our way of working as a team is characterized by
flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes. We offer you
flexible working hours and a permanent position with a fixed salary (at
least €2,600 gross, willingness to overpay depending on qualifications).
You get the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies and
constantly acquire new know-how. The exclusive machine park in the
Happylab is available to you not only for your professional tasks, but
also for your own maker projects.
Your area of responsibility: You play a central role in ensuring
trouble-free operation of our wood and metal workshop by making sure
that the machines function smoothly (e.g. through maintenance and
repairs). With your technical skills, you will carry out commissioned
work, share your technical know-how in workshops and support our
community in turning their ideas into reality.
Who we are: As an open workshop, we give the general public access to
digital technologies and traditional crafts and support people in
implementing their creative projects. Our machine park is equipped with
professional machines for wood and metal processing (including panel
saws, planing machines, CNC milling machines, welding machines, laser
cutters for metal), as well as digital production machines (3D printers,
laser cutters, etc.).
If we have piqued your interest, we look forward to receiving your
online application!
