[Metalab] RIOT Summit in Wien (5.-7. September)

Liebe Leute rund um as Metalab,

die RIOT-Community rund um das Freie Betriebssystem RIOT OS, das auf
Mikrocontroller und in IoT-Netzwerken läuft, trifft sich am 5./6./7.
September in der Universität Wien zum diesjährigen RIOT Summit.

An zwei Tagen beschäftigen wir uns in Vorträgen und Diskussionsrunden
nicht nur mit dem Betriebssystem selbst, sondern auch mit
Herausforderungen und Entwicklungen im Mikrocontroller-Umfeld und mit
Sicherheit und Vertraulichkeit in sparsamen Netzwerken. Am letzten Tag
widmen wir uns im Rahmen eines Hackathons dem Spaß am Gerät und setzen
Ideen der vorangegangenen Tag in Code um.

Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos. Registrierung auf [2] ist für die Teilnahme
erforderlich; wer am Tutorial (Einstieg in Embedded-Entwicklung mit
RIOT, in C oder Rust) teilnehmen möchte, kommt bitte mit Laptop.

Hello Metalab people,

the RIOT community, centered around the Free operating system RIOT OS
for microcontrollers and IoT networks, will meet September 5th/6th/7th
at Universiät Wien for its RIOT Summit.

The first two days bring presentations and discussion, not only around
RIOT OS itself, but also around challenges and developments around
microcontrollers, and around security and privacy on constrained
networks. On the final day, we'll have a hackathon and put our keyboards
where our mouths are.

Participation is free. Please register at [2] to join; if you
participate in the tutorial (intro to embedded development with RIOT, in
C or Rust), you should bring a laptop.
