 Someone caused a loop by incorrectly messing with the cables causing the
 outage of both network links and also made devices on the LAN unreachable.

 Dear Metalab folks:
 If you have no idea of the network, PLEASE do not mess with the cables!
 If you think you know about the network, PLEASE do not mess with the
 cables!

 Clemens fixed it!
