 The metal casing of the coffee machine in the kitchen connects to 230VAC,
 so it is not advisable to touch it while it is plugged in, especially not
 at the same time as the sink right next to it (which has ground
 potential).

 To resolve this issue, the machine should probably be replaced with one
 that hasn't been exposed to direct fire.
