 Doing a debug session with Moritz right now. From the FW Changelog for the
 procurve:

 "Latency (PR_0000070153) - On the 48-port switch, traffic from a port in
 the first bank of
 ports (ports 1-24) to a port in the second bank of ports (25-48) and vice
 versa might
 experience latency and packet drops when the outbound port is
 oversubscribed (asked to
 send more traffic than it can handle)."
