[Dome] strawbees mega

Making pipe connectors is nothing me/we want to protect as a whole. The brand Strawbees is exclusive, and our design is shared for non commercial use at the moment, with the intention to let it all free some time in the future.

I’m attaching some examples of what we have made so far. Right now we are building a 9meter diameter 6v dome for a light faire outside of Gothenburg, and planning for a 10meter long kinetic snake for a maker conference in Norway.

A kickstarter for the Strawbees MEGA will happen also, and a dome kit will most probably be featured there. Some kind of competition/co-petition/collaboration would be inspiring to push things further faster and better.

Some way down the road we will try other material also, a friend in Oslo made a version in POM for example, and that seems to work well! We have a dome greenhouse that has been up since the beginning of the summer, to test what happens to it over time.
