I am actually uing it and am quite happy with it. Its having a lot more
features than dashboard (especially the autosetup stuff), but is also
lacking some features (like nodegroups in nodegroups for instance).

Since the last version they are working on a system called smartproxy to
make it possible to have different hosts for different services (TFTP,
DHCP, Puppet[ca], DNS). I haven't used all of them by now.

There is also a basic libvirt integration for KVM (i only tried to get ESX
running but no luck) to create new hosts out of foreman, but I think it
should be possible to use other virtualization platforms supported by
libvirt as well.
