by overflo 28 Nov '22

Help repairing a Thinkpad, can provide beers
by Carlo Ascani 26 Nov '22

26 Nov '22

Greetings, is anyone interested in trying to repair a Thinkpad x200s? The Monitor leds switch on, but the power button does nothing. I would like to learn the troubleshooting process, and it's ok if it's not reparable. I can provide beers for the time we spend on the project. I no very little electronics, looking for someone patient to teach. Open Call for Cocktailrobots
by Zwax 14 Nov '22

14 Nov '22

fyi -------- Weitergeleitete Nachricht -------- Since 1999, the ROBOEXOTICA Festival for Cocktailrobotics – organised by monochrom and SHIFZ has playfully illustrated that it’s not in the nature of robots to outsmart and displace humans. The robots of the Roboexotica Festival give this away at first glance: there’s one mixing cocktails, one serving Schnapps, one preparing pancakes, yet another one offers wine cooler with elderberry syrup – clumsy at times, but always at your service and culinarily to the point! Roboexotica is a one of a kind platform right at the junction between art, technology, research, and science, taking place December 1st through 4th at the Freiraum Q21, MuseumsQuartier Wien. Therefore, we invite you with this open call to send ideas and proposals as to what kind of cocktail robot you would like to present at the event. Please send your suggestions to office(a)roboexotica.at until the 30th of November this year.

Anyone interested in retro computing?
by Carlo Ascani 09 Nov '22

09 Nov '22

Greetings, please apologize me I can't speak German yet. Is there anyone interested in retro computing who would fancy a chat and a beer? I'd love to build a group and maybe organize something (coding sessions, games tournaments, exhibitions.... I don't know). Kind Regards, Carlo -- Carlo Ascani [https://tilde.club/~carloratm](https://tilde.club/~carloratm/) Sent with [Proton Mail](https://proton.me/) secure email.
