Hello CNC folks, I would like to use the CNC machine to do some "simple" work with MDF. However, I have never used a CNC before. Would anyone have time this weekend to help me? I appreciate that this may take some time due to all the safety aspects involved. I am happy to volunteer to help with the 'Cleanup' that Hobbes suggested. LG Fabio libertybits
Hi Fabio, thank you for your voluntueer offer. :)) For your CNC-Projekt could you be a little bit more specific what you want to mill? Material is clear --> MDF Do you have the milling bits? Could you post a small JPEG how the endresult should look like? Hi Hobbes, I want to build a small centre speaker cabinet for two full range drivers I have. Something like what is attached. I don't have any milling bits, but I can invest in some. I just don't know how much this sort of thing costs! Regards, Fabio On 22 March 2017 at 11:58, Hobbes Calvin <Hobbes2009@hotmail.com> wrote:

Hi Fabio, this style of frontplate ist not a big deal. I think you know the size limitation of our CNC?! Max.width for milling area is 405 mm. All other points we could discuss on Sa. while we are doing the cleanup. Hi Hobbes, That's great, what time on Saturday should I call in? Yes, the speaker frontplate will probably be less than 300mm on it's longest side. Should I bring the MDF, or is that a little premature?! Fabio On 22 March 2017 at 12:21, Hobbes Calvin <Hobbes2009@hotmail.com> wrote:

Hi Fabio, bring them in. We will see how we can figure it out best on Sa. I would like to start with the cleanup at 13:00. Maybe we can mill it on Sa or So. It depends how quick we are able to finish the big cleanup.
