 Just to clarify:
 The inner active-coil (smell removing, cylindrical, black colored) filters
 are not to be washed. The outer protective filters (plates, silver
 colored) may be washed in the dishwasher.
 Also the cooker-hood absorbs the air to remove the smells and lets out the
 filtered air inside the room (not outside) - on top - close to the smoke
 detector. The inner filters are blocked with oil/grease and that reduces
 suction dramatically.
